The Welsh Analytical Prescribing Support Unit (WAPSU), the analytical unit of AWTTC, has developed a dashboard to report on progress for increasing the interval of prescribing durations for prescriptions issued within primary care in Wales. This work is in support of the All Wales guidance for prescribing intervals paper and uses a selected basket of medicines agreed by key stakeholders from across Wales.
The dashboard can be viewed as part of the Server for Prescribing Information Reporting and Analysis (SPIRA).
Monthly reports, entitled ‘Summary of the progress made for increasing prescribing intervals’ are also generated. These reports are intended as a brief summary overview of some of the key metrics provided within the SPIRA dashboard. These monthly reports can be accessed below:
