Videos now available from recent Patient and Public Interest Group (PAPIG) meeting

The most recent virtual Patient and Public Interest Group (PAPIG)  meeting was successfully held on the 21 October 2022. The focus of this meeting was the environmental impact of medicines and included talks on:

  • How AWTTC/AWMSG are supporting the medicines sustainability agenda
  • Inhaler recycling in community pharmacy (Swansea Bay University Health Board)
  • The pharmaceutical industry perspective on sustainability in relation to medicines (Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry)
  • Patient perspectives on sustainability (Asthma and Lung UK)

Other talks included:

  • Yellow Card Centre Wales update
  • Introduction to the UK National Poisons Information Service and the Welsh National Poisons Unit

Videos of each of the presentations are now available for you to view and AWTTC would like to thank all the presenters for such interesting and informative talks.
