We would welcome your comments on the draft All Wales implementation framework for biological medicines in COPD and the associated equality and health impact assessment (EqHIA) form.
The framework has been developed by the National Strategic Clinical Network for Respiratory Conditions with the support of the All Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Centre (AWTTC). It will support a controlled, clinically led implementation of biological medicines for chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD) in Wales. It has been prepared to signpost to both the Blueteq high cost drug system, which will host standardised forms for each biological medicine recommended for use for COPD in Wales, and the All Wales COPD management and prescribing guideline.
