When we produce these resources, we think it's important that people who might be affected by them have a chance to tell us their views. We ask patients and carers, patient organisations, prescribers and other healthcare professionals to comment on the resources we're developing.
Input from patients is vital, because we're aiming to improve the care and treatment that you get.
We'd like your views on the resources we're currently working on, listed below. You don't need to comment on the whole document; only on parts that seem relevant to you.
Please select the document you would like to comment on from the list below, fill in our form and send it to us at: awttc@wales.nhs.uk.

The purpose of this document is to provide guidance to healthcare professionals receiving requests for urgent medication; it is relevant to community pharmacists providing an Emergency Medicine Supply service and healthcare professionals working as prescribers in NHS 111 and OOH primary care services. It is anticipated that this guidance will enable healthcare professionals to assess need and prioritise requests for urgent medication, increase availability of GP OOH appointments for symptomatically unwell patients and minimise medicines wastage.
The resource has been developed in collaboration with colleagues at NHS 111 and will be used by practitioners to support prescribing decisions when receiving requests for emergency supplies of prescription-only medicines.

While the principles and recommendations could be applied to many medical gases, this policy focuses on nitrous oxide and Entonox®, as these gases have the highest impact due to high global warming potential and high-volume usage.
