AWTTC has added 3 new publications to its catalogue of journal articles; letters; conference posters, abstracts and talks; books and book chapters and Fellowships.

AWTTC’s Research Group studies the safe and effective use of medicines in Wales. Key research themes include access to medicines, medicines optimisation and medicines safety.

In June Professor Phil Routledge and Robert Bracchi’s paper: “Improving the spontaneous reporting of suspected adverse drug reactions: An overview of systematic reviews” was published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology. You can it here.

In June a paper by Bethan Hughes, Laurence Gray, Sally Bradberry, Euan Sandilands, Ruben Thanacoody and James Coulson: “Metformin-associated lactic acidosis reported to the United Kingdom National Poisons Information Service (NPIS) between 2010 and 2019: a ten-year retrospective analysis” was published in Clinical Toxicology. In July a paper by Katherine Chaplin, Robert Bracchi, Kath Haines, Professor Phil Routledge and Paul Deslandes on: “Antidepressant prescribing patterns and adverse events following introduction of a National Prescribing Indicator to monitor dosulepin usage in Wales” was published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology.
