AWTTC attends the Bevan Commission Conference 2023

Entitled “The Tipping Point: Where Next For Health And Care?” the conference took place at the Celtic Manor in Newport and was another fantastic opportunity for AWTTC to showcase its work, make connections and have meaningful conversations.

Karen Jones, Sabrina Rind (Senior Pharmacists) and Stephanie Francis (Project Manager) were on hand to raise awareness of the important work of AWTTC and AWMSG and highlight the collaborations between AWTTC and industry.

The conference also marked the 75th anniversary of the NHS and celebrated its achievements over the last 75 years, with a focus on finding solutions to current and future challenges to ensure we have a sustainable health and care system that meets needs now and in the future.

It centred on four key themes, Developing Resilient and Resourceful People and Communities; Integrating Quality Health & Social Care fit for People; Creating Sustainable & Equally Well Approaches and Transformation to be Fit & Flexible for the Future.

These themes were explored with internationally renowned speakers including; Lord Nigel Crisp KCB, Sir Frank Atherton CMO, Dame Sue Bailey, Professor Sir Michael Marmott and Judith Paget CBE.
