The conference provided an excellent platform to exchange ideas, contribute to insightful discussions, and reflect on the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. A central theme throughout was how systems can support the emergence of innovative health technologies while maintaining sustainability and ensuring equitable access for patients.
Sessions highlighted NICE’s pivotal role in guiding the adoption of digital innovation, advancing preventative interventions, and addressing areas of unmet need to improve patient outcomes. Delegates also explored the importance of evaluating technologies across their full lifecycle to ensure value, effectiveness, and long-term impact.
Key discussions focused on the ongoing challenge of balancing high-quality care with financial pressures, as well as the growing need for international collaboration in shaping healthcare decision-making on a global scale.
Overall, the conference offered a valuable opportunity for learning, networking, and strengthening AWTTC’s engagement with key developments and stakeholders in medicines access and optimisation.
