We work with patients, carers and patient organisations, healthcare professionals, the pharmaceutical industry, Welsh Government and relevant UK-wide organisations, to advise on new medicines and make sure medicines are used effectively and appropriately in Wales.

• Analysing trends in prescribing and improving the use of medicines in Wales
• Improving medicines safety
• Reporting serious suspected side effects of medicines (adverse drug reactions)
• Education and training for healthcare professionals and public and patient groups
