YCC Wales support the #MedSafetyWeek campaign

The Yellow Card Centre Wales team had successful days raising awareness for #MedSafetyWeek 2024 at both UHW and UHL.

This year the theme was the ‘importance of using medicines in the right way to prevent side effects, and to report side effects when they do occur’. 

Key highlights of the day:

• Engaged with healthcare professionals and members of the public to promote the Yellow Card scheme.
• Highlighted what to report and how to report adverse effects.
• Encouraged meaningful discussions, answered questions, and shared resources to inspire active participation in the campaign.
