Student Workshops: Yellow Card Centre Teaching

Yellow Card Centre Wales recently returned to Swansea and Cardiff Universities to deliver interactive workshops with pharmacy students, focusing on adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and the importance of reporting through the Yellow Card Scheme.

The sessions began with an informative lecture, followed by a hands-on workshop where students worked through case studies to identify suspect medications and assess whether the reactions should be reported via the Yellow Card Scheme.

Over 100 students took part, and the YCC Wales team was impressed by their enthusiasm and thought-provoking questions on ADRs. We look forward to returning next year to engage with the next cohort of future pharmacists.
