NPIS Cardiff - Cardiff University Summer School event

The NPIS Cardiff team recently hosted an educational escape room experience for A-level students aspiring to study medicine or dentistry at Cardiff University this September. Students stepped into the role of clinicians, diagnosing and managing a simulated medication poisoning case - gaining practical insights into clinical toxicology before even starting their studies. Along the way, they learned critical lessons about the risks of overdose with painkillers and worked together to beat the clock and “escape” the room! The event was enthusiastically received, with all students fully engaged and successfully completing the escape room challenge.
