Antipsychotic medicines in dementia

These patient information leaflets provide key questions for patients with dementia (or their carer) to ask their prescriber about antipsychotic medicines. They cover aspects including treatment initiation, side effects, and medicine review. The leaflets support the ‘All Wales protocol for the appropriate prescribing of antipsychotics for people living with dementia’ resource endorsed by AWMSG in 2024.

The leaflets are presented in two formats (A and B), each with Welsh and English language versions. Format B is in an easy read format.
