If we don't receive your Form B or Form C submission within three months of a medicine receiving marketing authorisation, AWMSG will issue a Statement of Advice. This will confirm that the medicine cannot be endorsed for use within NHS Wales.
It is unlikely that use of a medicine that falls within AWMSG's appraisal criteria will be funded in NHS Wales before AWMSG have appraised it.
Yes. Your medicine will be listed on this website with the accompanying Statement of Advice. Once we receive your Form B or Form C, we'll remove the Statement of Advice from our website.
Please note that if the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) later publishes guidance for the medicine for the same indication, then we will update our Statement of Advice.
