Submissions from clinical experts are an integral part of our health technology assessments. We also invite requests for medicines to be considered for the One Wales Medicine process. This section has the information and forms you need to make a submission to us.
Views from clinical experts are an integral part of our health technology assessments. Clinical experts set the clinical scene and state where they think a new medicine would sit within current therapy in NHS Wales.
We welcome suggestions for medicines to be considered via the One Wales Medicines process from Individual Patient Funding Request (IPFR) panels, Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee (WHSSC), clinicians (ideally through clinical networks), chief pharmacists, formulary pharmacists or medicines and therapeutics committees.
An IPFR application should be made by the clinician who is responsible for the patient's care. Submissions may be made electronically by registering with the All Wales IPFR database or using the application form.
